About the yard

My name is CJ. I moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2016, and while I'll always be proud of my Hoosier roots — I grew up in Southern Indiana — Florida became home almost instantly. I love it here.

About five years ago, I came to a realization I couldn't outrun: I was broken, in ways I couldn't fix on my own. No amount of effort, willpower, or good intentions was going to close those gaps. That's when I turned my life over to Jesus.

Since then, I've become an active member of my church, and I've experienced a kind of spiritual growth and peace I didn't know was possible — the kind that only comes from trusting in God rather than myself.

This website is my way of sharing that joy. Whether you're new to faith like I once was, or you've walked with God for years and just need a story to help you reconnect — I hope something here meets you where you are.
